Excited to be reading live from A Summer for Moths and performing the songs that appear in the novel. Please join me for an evening of story and song. I will also be opening up the floor to talk about publishing - how a project evolves from an idea to a draft, a draft to a pitch/contract, and then hopefully a bookshelf.

For this VOICES RISING event, I'll be teaming up with the great Kimberly Behre Kenna to share passages of bravery and heroism in tweens and teens from our award-winning books. We will create a community song inspired by these ideas at the end of the presentation and I will email a demo of our community-created song to all participants to continue the songwriting journey.
